Earlier today, Ubisoft released an 11 minute documentary video giving us mere mortals an insight into the thought process that eventually became Far Cry Primal.
How much research does it take to, as accurately as possible, create a game that is set 10,000 years ago? This video gives you a behind the scenes look at the beginnings of this epic upcoming title.
Far Cry Primal has thrown up unique challenges, including the creation of an entirely new language called Wenja, based on the Proto-Indo-European language (you know what that is, right?). The developers felt this was an essential undertaking to achieve the level of realism and authenticity they desired for the game. Historians, Anthropologists and Linguists and even Movement Coaches were all drafted in to help Ubisoft Montreal pull this off – and from what we’ve seen so far, their efforts have all culminated to create what promises to be a game experience like no other.
Far Cry Primal is due for release on Xbox One on February 23rd. You can pre-order it right here on the Xbox One Store for £54.99, or use discount Xbox Credit from CD Keys to cut it down to £49.11 when buying £55 Credit and using the 5% discount from their Facebook Page.
