Despite being a total noob to the series myself, I’ve been lucky enough to have been playing Dark Souls III for over a week already – but I can confidently say that I have barely even scratched the surface of this massive title from Bandai Namco and FromSoftware.
It needs no introduction, but for those of you who want it, have it you shall:
As fires fade and the world falls into ruin, journey into a universe filled with more colossal enemies and environments. Players will be immersed into a world of epic atmosphere and darkness through faster gameplay and amplified combat intensity. Fans and newcomers alike will get lost in the game hallmark rewarding gameplay and immersive graphics. Now only embers remain… Prepare yourself once more and Embrace The Darkness!
Yes, I stole that direct from the hand of the developers – I wouldn’t dare attempt to describe a game this massive with my own limited knowledge of it, I know you lot can get pretty rowdy about that kind of thing. Instead, just sit there and appreciate my honesty damnit!
Dark Souls III is available in two editions. The Dark Souls III Standard edition consists of just the full game, and costs £49.99 here in the UK. The Dark Souls III Deluxe edition has the Season Pass thrown in too which will give players a hefty discount on future DLC releases, and is here priced at £69.74.
Here’s my own personal first glimpse at Dark Souls III. If you decide to pick it up, I truly hope you’re better at it than I am. Enjoy!
